Language variety

Hi! ! I really really love the Missal Page app. I was wondering if you could bring some language options. It'd be grate to have it in Portuguese. And if I can help to translate things, I'd be glad to help😊

Roman Martyrology

At the end of the Roman martyrology, it is finished in liturgical settings by a final entry: “And elsewhere, many other holy martyrs, confessors, and holy virgins.” “Thanks be to God.” Then followed by “Precious in sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Perhaps this could be added to the bottom of the daily martyrology pages to allow them to be completed as they would be prayed in a liturgical setting.

Feast Reminders

On non-holy days of obligation the masses available to me are at 7:15 am. Since the notifications don’t arrive until 9 am, I often miss feasts where I would like to participate. Having the feast day reminders (at least) the day before is really valuable to me. I realize that I could just check the app every day and look ahead, however, the reminders could be very helpful to plan.

Audio

It would be wonderful to have audio/playback added for prayers and readings. It would accommodate different learning styles and would help us who are interested in Latin pronunciation 😉🙏

The ordinary

Can you add in the ordinary when to stand, kneel and sit please. I’m new to Latin mass and this would help so much. Also when we sign our selves with the sign of the cross

Readings for the XI Sunday after Pentecost

Gospel Reading for XI Sunday after Pentecost. The Gospel for the liturgy is Mark 7:31-37, but on the app provides the text from Matt 16. The Epistle should be from St Paul, but the app provides Ecclesiasticus. Thank you!

Support for 1954 St. Andrew daily missal?

Hello, I recently purchased a 1954 St. Andrew daily missal. I was wondering if there are plans to support this version in terms of page numbers in the near future?

Add ”Week starts on Sunday” setting

I’m constantly just a little bit confused by the date selector. I kept thinking that it wasn’t scrolling properly, till I realized it’s aligning the week to start on Monday by design. Here in the United States, I’ve grown up with calendars where the week starts on Sunday (which also aligns well with the way that Sunday propers carry into the week’s ferias). Adding a “Week starts on Sunday/Monday” setting would reduce some cognitive dissonance for locales including the United States.

Add support for pre-55 calendar

Background: There are many discrepancies between the Divino Afflatu "pre-55" calendar and the 1962 calendar. For example, in the "pre-55" calendar, April 22, 2026, is the Patronage of St. Joseph, Confessor (being Wednesday before the third Sunday after Easter), while in the 1962 calendar, it's Sts. Soter and Caius, Popes and Martyrs. Context: The Lasance Missal of 1945 obviously reflects the pre-55 calendar and rubrics, and the church that I frequent follows the pre-55 calendar in most cases. Feature Request: When I select the Lasance missal, then I should be presented with the pre-55 calendar as the default, or at least be presented with the option to follow the pre-55 calendar. Discussion: It looks like Missal Page is already using parts of DivinumOfficium.org for Mass propers. Divinum Officium offers a plethora of liturgical calendar options, including the 1945 Divino Afflatu version.

Add Spanish Language Support

It would be great to add Spanish support to the app to reach a wider audience. Happy to help with translations or submit a pull request if needed!

Switching between months does not select the new date

In the calendar page, when you switch between months the selected date in the new month is not being really selected and reflecting in the home page.
